The BYC's Winter Sailing Program has
re-established frostbiting as a regular feature of the
Marblehead racing scene. Sonar frostbiting races are held each
Sunday afternoon from November until March. The series is open
to any eligible Sonar sailor (with preference for BYC members).
However due to space, launching and haulout restrictions, the
fleet size is usually limited to 12 or so boats. The format of
multiple short-course races each day offers great opportunities
to improve racing skills.

Tyler Doyle wins
the Humphreys Bowl for the best overall season, the Boulter
Award for the best BYC skipper performance, as well as the
Goslings Cup for the best combined 2nd race day of each series
and the Bud Bowl for the best combined 4th race of each series.
