2008 Charter Fleet

The club owns two Sonars that are available for charter to BYC members. They come with cruising sails, charts and all the safety equipment that you need.

Day Sailing
 

The boats will be available for charter on Friday, Saturday and Sunday provided that they are not being used for private lessons.

Half day: $50
Full day: $80

Racing Charter

The two boats are "race ready" and are competitive (#372 and #409). They can be chartered for any of the local events. They will be supplied with cruising sails, which will not be competitive

Weds night race $50
Wed night season $600

MRA race: $80
MRA season: $600

FAQs

HOW DO I BOOK A BOAT?

You can either send an email to the instructors at instructors AT bostonyachtclub.net or call the club and ask the front desk to put you through to the instructor’s office. A deposit of 50% of the boat rental will be required at the time of reservation. The deposit is nonrefundable unless cancellation is due to inclement weather.

HOW FAR AHEAD DO I NEED TO BOOK THE BOAT?

The instructors will typically not be working the weekends, so if you want to be assured of a boat you will need to contact them by Friday.

DO I NEED A TRY-OUT?

If you are a sail boat owner or have chartered a club boat before you will not need a try out, otherwise you will need to set up a time with the instructors for a try-out.
