Ashley
is excited to join the Boston Yacht Club Junior Sailing program
this summer after previously working for two seasons at the
Corinthian as a sailing instructor and two seasons as a junior
instructor at Pleon. She has grown up
sailing in Marblehead in Optis, 420s, and Sonars.
A very active member of the Brown University sailing
team, Ashley competes in regattas nearly every weekend in the
fall and spring and enjoys casual team racing during the summer
in Vanguard 15s and Sonars.
My name is Danielle
Sylvia. This is my first summer working at BYC but I have worked
at Community Boating in Boston for four summers. I have been
sailing for 8 years and spent most of those years racing Club
420’s. I just finished my junior year at Saint Michaels College
in Burlington, VT and am majoring in Environmental Engineering.
Can’t wait to sail with some new faces this summer!
My name is Maggie
McMullen. This will be my 4th summer working at the BYC. I
previously worked as a Jr. Instructor at Pleon across the
harbor. I have been sailing in Marblehead since I was 8 years
old and have raced Optis and Club 420’s all over New England. I
will be a junior at Colgate University where I am on the sailing
team. I am excited about being part of the BYC program again.
Looking forward to seeing you on the water this summer!
My name is Annie Boldys and this is my third summer teaching
sailing
at the BYC and I couldn't be more
excited about it! I learned to sail
across the harbor at Pleon Yacht
Club in Opti's and eventually moved
to 420 racing with my fellow
instructor, Maggie McMullen. I was a
junior instructor at Pleon for two
summers and then became a full
instructor here at the BYC! I am a
rising junior at UMass Amherst
where I am studying nutrition and I
hope to go to medical school one
day! Looking forward to lots of
great weather and awesome sailing this
summer! See you all
on the water!
Bio coming soon!
