I started my sailing career at Pleon Yacht Club when I was eight years old and I have loved every second of it! I sailed Opti's, JY 15's and 420's in my 9 years at Pleon and was a Junior Instructor for two summers. I sailed on the 420 Race Team for three summers and attended numerous regattas in the Mass Bay area. I just finished my freshman year at UMass Amherst where I intend to major in Communication Disorders. I am so excited to back at the BYC for another fun filled summer!

Can't wait to see everyone in June!

This will be my fourth year working at the BYC sailing Program as a Jr. Instructor.I am a senior at St. Mary's High School, and will be attending college in the fall. I am looking forward to be back at the BYC and I can't wait to see everyone on the water this summer! Lindsay Sailing.jpg Lindsay Smith, checking in as your 2010 Head Sailing Instructor at Boston Yacht Club Junior Sailing. This summer I will be halfway through my Senior Year at Smith College, where I play in the Rugby back line, am an Economics Major, and will be the President of the College Republican Club next fall. As my colleagues, I grew up sailing at Pleon Yacht Club and raced on the 420 travel team. I also competed for Marblehead High School and Roger Williams University. 2010 is my fourth summer working at the BYC and I am fully prepared to make it the best one yet! I am advocating for increased availability of all our instructors for private lessons to ensure that all of your children’s needs are met. I am glad to be back for a final fun summer on the water with the coolest kids in Marblehead before joining the competitive unemployed population in search of real jobs.
